Moyo Lawal, Nigerian actress says her leaked sex tape ‘inappropriately shared’

Nigerian actress, Moyo Lawal, has broken the silence over her sex tape that surfaced on social media on Saturday, September 9, 2023.

The actress who joined the elongating list of renowned celebrities whose sex tape had surfaced on social media said the video was inappropriately shared without her consent, violating her privacy and trust.

She said the video was done with her ex she intended to marry years back and was never intended for public consumption, saying ‘its unauthorized distribution breached her personal boundaries.’

According to actress Lawal, the criminal breach of her privacy will be treated with legal action. 

The actress wrote, “It really hits me funny because I have always maintained a strict approach to my sexuality, even going as far as being celibate for a few years, refusing to date often, and choosing to be alone most times. However, I am determined to not let this unfortunate incident break my spirit.

“I appreciate the support and understanding of those who have reached out to me during this challenging time. Please know that your kindness and goodwill mean the world to me.”

News Round The Clock (NRTC) earlier reported that the video of the actress and an anonymous man having an intense coitus leaked on the microblogging site, X (formerly known as Twitter) with the two seen having a romp on the bed as the man held the camera to record the event.
