UEFA has announced the UK and Republic of Ireland as co-hosts of Euro 2028, with Italy and Turkey named joint hosts of the 2032 edition.
The announcement, made on Tuesday, follows the official approval of UEFA after both bids were unopposed.
Just last week, Turkey withdrew from the Euro 2028 bidding process, making it easier for the UK and Ireland.

FIFA had also announced last week that Morocco, Portugal and Spain will host the 2030 World Cup. However, matches will also be played in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay to celebrate the mundial’s centenary.
In July, Turkey agreed to team up with Italy in a bid for the 2032 edition. Although the nation did it mention at the time if she would pull out of the bidding race for 2028.
Six of the proposed venues for the 2028 European Championships are in England. Two of those stadiums are in London with others in Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester.
Meanwhile, Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast, and Cardiff are also in the running to host matches.
Italy and Turkey to host Euro 2032
Italy are yet to host a tournament on their own since the 1990 World Cup.The country staged the final phases of the four-team Euro in 1968 and the eight-team tournament in 1980.
Turkey, which hosted this yearās Champions League final in Istanbul in June, has never been awarded a major international competition.
āWe are happy to host #EURO2032 with the friendly country Italy. It is an honour to be rewarded for the steps we have taken in the 100th anniversary of our beautiful country, which we have woven together with investments into sport,” Turkish Sports Minister Osman Askin Bak stated on social media.

The next Euro tournament will be played in Germany next year, from June 14 to July 14.
