Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has been awarded an honorary Master’s Degree by top Italian institution, the University of Parma.
Ancelotti receives the award in the discipline of ‘Sciences and techniques of preventive and adapted physical activities.’
According to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the award ceremony, held earlier today, was broadcast on the University’s YouTube channel.

In attendance at the ceremony were Arieso Braida and legendary coach Arrigo Sacchi. Ancelotti was coached by the latter between 1987 and 1991 at Milan. Meanwhile Braida was his teammate at Parma and was later general manager at Milan.
It is truly a huge achievement for the Italian who has been one of the greatest managers football has ever seen. He has won trophies in all the top five major leagues in Europe and is widely respected.
Carlo Ancelotti is a true champ winning both on and off the pitch.
