Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has said he is happy with the 2-2 draw his team played against Saudi Arabia in an international friendly on Friday.
The Portuguese coach also stated that his team lacked the killer instinct that should have helped them carry the day.
Saudi Arabia denied the Super Eagles of Nugeria victory after an injury time goal forced a 2-2 draw in Portugal.

Salman Al-Faraj drew the first blood in the 60th minute of the game before Nigeria equalised through an own goal.
Substitute Kelechi Iheanacho scored nine minutes from regulation time as Nigeria took the lead but could not hold on.
Al-Hilal midfielder Mohamed Kanno scored a deflected freekick in the tenth minute of added time to secure the draw.
Speaking after the match, Peseiro stated that although his players lacked killer instinct, he was happy with the result.
āI think we played very well in the first half and could have scored about three to five goals and in the second half as well.
“We created more chances in the second half but we needed the killer instinct in this squad. Iām happy with the result.ā

āWe need to improve on our finishing”, he said.
Super Eagles will slug it out Mozambique in another friendly encounter on Monday, 16th October.
