Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has said he would choose to play in the MLS than in the Saudi Pro League.
He stated his preference for the American league over the Saudi league if offered the “same conditions”.
Osimhen was offered a lucrative deal by Saudi side Al Hilal this summer but was reportedly turned down by Napoli.

In an interview with former AC Milan and Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli and Emiliano Viviano on Twitch, Osimhen said: “I am happy at Napoli.”
“People don’t know how difficult it is to play in Serie A. From a tactical and physical point of view, it’s one of the most difficult leagues to play in.”
When asked if he would rather play in the MLS or Saudi Pro League if given the same conditions, Osimhen said: “If I had the same conditions, I would go to MLS.”
The 24-year-old however praised the Saudi Pro League for its exploits over the past months.

Last summer, 94 players from Europe’s top leagues were acquired for close to $1 billion.
“They are trying to develop their league, which is good,” Osimhen said.
“One [Ronaldo] of the greatest of all time has gone there. Because of his [Ronaldo’s] influence, they have attracted a lot of talented players to also go there. So for me it’s really good, they are trying to build their league into one of the best. For me they are doing something amazing.”
Last season’s Serie A top scorer has not decided on his next club move yet. There has been ongoing talks over a contract extension with Napoli but the Nigeria international has yet to commit to a new deal. His current agreement expires in June 2025.
On Friday, Oct. 20, Napoli released a statement confirming that “after a long negotiationā¦ Victor had second thoughts.”
