The Super Eagles of Nigeria are finishing the year 42nd after FIFA released its latest as well as last World ranking for 2023.
Nigeria was able to accrue 1474.44 points in the last month. The West Africans side remain in the top 50 while maintaining 6th position on the continent.
Following her two World Cup qualifying games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, Nigeria could only garner two points.

Morocco remains 13th in the world and number one in Africa. Meanwhile, the Teranga Lions of Senegal are ranked 20th in the World and are second on the continent.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will have the chance to improve their ranking when the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) kicks off in Ivory Coast in January 2024.
