Arsenal’s “position in relation to the European Super League” remains unchanged


North London football club Arsenal have released an official statement following a judgement passed by the European Court of Justice.

The court ruled Thursday that the blocking of a breakaway league (European Super League) by FIFA and UEFA was illegal.

Arsenal who have not shown interest in being a part of the breakaway league, earlier today, released a statement.

“Arsenal Football Club notes the judgement by the European Court of Justice on Thursday, 21 December 2023 and our position in relation to the European Super League has not changed, Arsenal announced on their official website.

“We will continue to play in UEFA competitions and continue to work with fellow European clubs and the European Club Association (ECA).”
