Dressed in a blessed suit, looking suave and scintillating, Ololade Ahmed who is better known as Asake will be looking to win his first Grammy award plaque on Sunday night.
The 66th Grammy Award ceremony will be taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, United States of America on Sunday, February 4 and Asake is one of the superstars who will be looking to grab a golden plaque.
Barely two years after he gained mainstream exposure, Asake has attained mainstream prominence beyond his imagination. Turning 29 in January 2024, Asake is living the life he has always dreamt about and desired growing up in the streets of Lagos.

In February 2022, Asake officially joined Olamide’s record label, Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL) releasing his first official music project, a 4-track EP titled, Ololade.
The project spurned hits such as “Omo Ope” featuring his mentor and label boss, Olamide.
It was the commencement to greater things. Haven’t started releasing music in 2017, Asake didn’t find mainstream exposure until 2022; five years into his career.
The moment Asake combusted, his popularity continued to skyrocket- the release of his debut album, MR Money With The Vibes (MMWTV) saw him attain superstar level.
He quickly became a household name with the MMWTV hypnotic project. Asake was on everyone’s lips, he was the man of the moment, albeit, little did Asake know that wasn’t going to be all. There were greater things ahead for the burgeoning singer-songwriter.
In 2023, the follow up album, Work of Art continued Asake’s dominance in the music industry. His single, “Amapiano” received a Grammy nomination and will pulsate th e career of the self-acclaimed further beyond his imagination.
Already a certified superstar, a Grammy award win would cement Asake’s legendary status in the music industry within two years.
