Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has instructed the immediate release of employment letters to successful applicants who took part in the recent recruitment exercise of the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS).
Upon receiving the collated reports from the applicants, Governor Aiyedatiwa directed that the 165 successful applicants receive offers of employment letters.
A statement by Aiyedatiwaās Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, emphasized that the directive signifies a significant move aimed at bolstering revenue generation and fostering economic growth.
The governor, according to Adeniyan, stated that the directive aligns with the state government’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, job creation, and overall development of the state.
Recall that the ODIRS conducted a first batch of Computer Based Test (CBT) between October, 2023, while a supplementary CBT of the recruitment exercise was conducted in November, 2023.

As part of the recruitment exercise, shortlisted successful applicants from the CBT proceeded to the oral interview stage, which a team from Price WaterHouse Coopers (PwC Nigeria) supervised in December, 2023.
Meanwhile, following the governor’s approval, the State Ministry of Health has launched a website for the recruitment of health workers in the state.
