Another week of football as Premier League GameWeek 6 was played. The excitement and drama seem to never end.
The title race has been thrown wide open by a variety of results and itās far from being decided yet.
With much still left to play for, letās get into our review of the just-concluded Premier League game week 6.
Aston Villa 0-3 Leeds United
Marcelo Bielsaās men stunned at Villa Park and handed Villa their first defeat of the season. Patrick Bamford was absolutely exceptional, grabbing his first hat trick in the Premier League.
Dean Smithās men had no reply as they were dominated for the entire duration of the game.
Despite the result and with a game in hand, Aston Villa sits 3rd on the table above Leeds United.
Premier League GameWeek 6: Saturday’s results
West Ham United 1-1 Manchester City
The Citizens aimed to secure a win at the London Stadium, but the Hammers put up a stunning performance.
Pep Guardiolaās men dominated possession, but David Moyes secured his team defensively and hit the Citizens on the break. This worked a treat as the Hammers grabbed an early goal from Michail Antonioās stunning strike in the 18th minute.
However, they couldnāt hold out for a win as a moment of magic from Phil Foden early in the second half leveled the scoreline.
The result placed West Ham just above Manchester City in 12th place. Both teams are on the same points and only separated by goals difference.

Fulham 1-2 Crystal Palace
It seems Wilfred Zaha has risen up to Roy Hodgsonās challenge. He was exceptional in the game against Fulham. The Ivorian set up Jairo Reidewald for a goal before grabbing one for himself.
It was an important win for Crystal Palace after failing to win any of their previous 3 games. Fulham continues in woeful form as they sit bottom of the table with only one point from 6 games.
Manchester United 0-0 Chelsea
A boring game as the match ended in a goalless draw. Both teams were set up rather conservatively as their defensive issues are somewhat easily exploitable.
Apart from the stunning save from Edouard Mendy to stop Rashford’s strike, the first half was uneventful.
Manchester United looked the better team in the second half after making some important changes. However the Blues were resilient and went home with a point.
Liverpool 2-1 Sheffield United
Sheffield United took the lead as early as the 13th minute when Sander Berge converted from the penalty spot.
Liverpool however was not ready to give up their home unbeaten run to the Blades. They responded well when Roberto Firmino leveled the scoreline as he scored his first goal of the season. Mohammed Salahās fantastic strike was ruled out by VAR for offside in the 62nd minute.
Liverpoolās new signing Diogo Jota later put the Reds forward and sealed the game.
Sheffield has failed to win a single game this season, earning just a point in 6 games.
Premier League GameWeek 6: Sunday’s results
Southampton 2-0 Everton
Southampton continues their winning run as they secured a victory at home over the league leaders. James Rodriguez’s shock appearance wasnāt enough to turn the game in Evertonās favour.
Danny Ings set up both James Ward-Prowse and Che Adams as the Saints made their way to victory over Carlo Ancellotiās men.
Everton looked a shadow of themselves as the game was mostly in the Saintās control. To make matters worse for Everton at the St. Mary’s stadium, Lucas Digne received a red card in the 72nd minute for his foul on Kyle Walker-Peters.
Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Newcastle United
Two stunning strikes from both teams as they played out a 1-1 draw at the Molineux stadium. After a goalless first half, expectations were low for the second half of the game.
In the 80th minute, a clean strike from Raul Jimenez from the edge of the box looked to have sealed the game for the Wolves.
There was late drama once again as Jacob Murphy shot in a free kick in the 89th minute to earn a point for the Magpies.
Arsenal 0-1 Leicester City
Records were broken again as the Foxes earned their first win at the Emirates since 1973. Jamie Vardy just canāt stop scoring against Arsenal as he raised his tally against the Gunners to 11.
The Englishman made his return from injury as he came on for Dennis Praet in the 60th minute. He scored the only goal of the game by sending Cengiz Underās cross into the back of the net.
The result kept Leicester City 4th place with 12 points, 3 points above their opponents who sit in 10th position.
Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 West Bromwich Albion
West Brom captain Jake Livermore mistakenly gave Brighton the lead late in the first half, as Branislav Ivanovicās clearance bounced off him into their net in the 40th minute.
The Baggies however were much improved and finally had a breakthrough in the 83rd minute as Karlan Grant smashed in a cross from Callum Robinson into the net.
The draw denied Brighton their first home win of the season and gave the Baggies a much needed point to stay out of the relegation zone for the time being.
Burnley 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane set up Heung Min Son once again to send Jose Mourinhoās men back to into winning form.
In Spur’s first shot on target, Harry Kane flicked on a corner from which Son heads in from close range to score the only goal of the game.
Burnley has not won any games this season and have earned just 1 point. The result placed Tottenham fifth place, while Burnley is sitting in the relegation zone.
This week saw a paltry 14 goals scored across all games.
