Tobi Amusan ran the last leg as Nigeria won the women’s 4x100m Gold again at the African Games in Ghana.
It was a blazing affair as the second and third legs were quite competitive, with athletes closely tied.
However, Tobi Amusan ran metres ahead of her closest challenger in the anchor position to race Nigeria to victory.

The Nigerian contingent secured the gold medal in 43.06s ahead of Liberia and Ghana.
Justina Eyakpobeyan, Olajide Olayinka and Fore Abinusawa were the other runners for Nigeria on the night.
The win was an impressive one as it added to the many gold medals the country had secured during the course of the African Games.
