The management of Lead British International School in Abuja has condemned a recent case of bullying in the school.
Reports circulating on social media have sparked outrage regarding the bullying of a female student.
An X user, @mooyeeeeeee, in an SOS post accompanied by two videos on Monday night, is seeking justice for the female student and to stop bullying in society.
āThereās a video Iām about to post. I need you guys to help me get justice for (sic). She was bullied in her school by her classmates at Lead British School, Abuja. Pls make it go viral so she can get justice,ā the post read.
In one of the videos, the victim was seen being slapped repeatedly by another female student while asking āWho broke my heart?ā.

In another video, the victim was seen sitting next to a male classmate who was heard saying āI spoilt her relationshipā.
In response to the public outcry, concerned individuals have taken to various social media platforms to express their condemnation of the incident, urging the school to take decisive action against those responsible.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Abraham Ogunkambi, the Head of Abuja School, affirmed that the school administration is treating the matter with utmost seriousness.
Ogunkambi stated that the school has already reached out to the victim and her parents, offering support and counseling services to help them navigate the emotional and psychological aftermath of the ordeal.
Ogunkambi assured that the school is committed to providing counseling support and implementing disciplinary measures to address the unacceptable behavior of the perpetrators.
He disclosed that a dedicated panel has been established to thoroughly investigate the incident and any other allegations of bullying within the school community.
