Josko Gvardiol scored twice as Manchester City moved to the top of the Premier League table with a spectacular 4-0 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Pep Guardiola’s side continue their push for a historic fourth straight Premier League title.
Gvardiol scored a brace while Player of the Season nominee Phil Foden and Argentine forward Julian Alvarez also scored. With two games of the league season left to play, City are on course to beat Arsenal to the title, barring any last minute drama.
Croatia international Gvardiol continued his recent impressive performances in front of goal with a double. Foden also netted his 25th goal of the campaign in the emphatic victory.

Alvarez, who replaced the league’s top scorer Erling Haaland, scored City’s fourth in injury time.
Manchester City floor Fulham in Premier League encounter
City wasted no time in asserting their dominance in the game as Gvardiol finished off Kevin De Bruyne’s assist.
The home side endured a tough time, failing to contain the visitors as they were camped in their own half. They were lucky not to concede more in the first half when Manuel Akanji volleyed his opportunity over the bar.
Later in the second period, playmaker Foden slotted a low 16-yard shot into the far corner to double the lead.
Thereafter, Gvardiol grabbed his fifth goal in his last seven games when he met Bernardo Silvaās cross.
Issa Diop was shown his marching orders in stoppage time as substitute Alvarez dispatched the resulting penalty into the net.
Title race gets hotter
With just two games to go, the result lifts City into first position on the Premier League table. They are also two points clear of rivals and closest challengers Arsenal.
The Gunners face a trip to Manchester United on Sunday in their penultimate league match of the season.
Fans believe City’s game against Tottenham on Tuesday will be the decider as Guardiolaās team play West Ham on final day.
As it stands, Arsenal will hope to beat United on Sunday and also win on the final matchday while hoping for City to somehow slip.
