Lateef Adedimeji is one of the leading actors in the Nigerian movie industry.
Since his mainstream debuts in the 2010s, Lateef Adedimeji has featured in popular movies such as Jagun Jagun, Ayinla Omowura, Hotel Labamba, to name a few.
The Nigerian actor and moviemaker has stated in a recent interview that he was paid as low as the sum of N4000 (four thousand naira) to lead in a movie.

He revealed this on a recent episode of the Teju Babyface Deep Dive Podcast. He stated that he started earning between ā¦100,000 and ā¦200,000 for roles in 2015.
āIf I tell people that I wasnāt collecting ā¦100,000, ā¦200,000 until 2015/16, a lot of people would not believe me. Before then, the highest I collected for a lead role was either ā¦4,000, ā¦5,000 or ā¦10,000,ā he said.
He also spoke about a lead role that he did in Ilorin in 2010 for which he was paid ā¦1,000. āThere is a lead role that I did for 10 days that I was given a thousand naira,ā he said. āI spent 10 days on that set. Also, I wasn’t even given feeding money until day six. I have played about 8 scenes for ā¦8,000. It was really a tough one.ā
