Aiyedatiwa meets with Oyetola, discuss Ondo’s interest in Blue Economy

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa met with the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, on Tuesday to discuss the state’s interests in the federal government’s blue economy policy.

The governor and the minister held a closed-door meeting at the Ministry of Transport’s headquarters in Abuja.

Aiyedatiwa’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, disclosed this in a statement to the press.

Part of the discussion focused on developing a sea port in Ondo State, for which the federal government granted a license last year.

Governor Aiyedatiwa recently emphasized that the development of Port Ondo remains a major priority for his administration.

Several foreign and local investors have already expressed interest in the development of the sea port and related businesses.
