Friday action
Crystal Palace 0 – 2 Newcastle
Newcastleās new signing Callum Wilson stunned as he returned from injury scoring the first goal before assisting another. The Magpies took all 3 points at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles were quite dominant in possession for most of the game but couldnāt take anything from the game, They lost their second game in a row.
The game was left until late to be decided with the first goal of the night coming in the 88th minute and Joelinton extending the lead at extra time.
Premier League GameWeek 10 – Saturday action
Brighton & Hove Albion 1 – 1 Liverpool
Graham Potterās men held the defending champions to a draw at the Amex Stadium with a late equalizer. Brighton threw away the chance to take the lead as Neal Maupay lost a penalty in the 20th minute.
Liverpool thought they took the lead in the first half until Mohammed Salahās goal was ruled out for offside. They did however take the lead in the second half with Salah assisting Diogo Jota for the first goal of the game.
Liverpoolās chance to extend the lead through Mane was also ruled out due to a clear offside.
Brighton levelled up in added time as Pascal Gross refused to miss the second penalty of the game.
Manchester City 5 – 0 Burnley
Pep Guardiolaās men got back to winning ways in an emphatic fashion, hitting 5 past Sean Dycheās men at the Etihad.
The Citizens took no time to open the scoresheet as they took the lead in the 6th minute through Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian then added 2 more goals later on to complete his hat trick.
Manchester City captain Kevin De Bruyne also had a good game setting up Riyad Mahrez for the first goal before assisting Benjamin Mendy for his first goal for Manchester City.
New signing Ferran Torres also got on the score sheet after being set up by Gabriel Jesus. It was a horrible outing for Burnley who looked to have turned their season around with two positive results prior to the game.
The result sent Burnley back into the relegation zone with Manchester City still struggling mid-table.

Everton 0-1 Leeds United
Marcelo Bielsaās men got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Everton. Though Leeds was dominant for most of the game, the match could have gone either way as both teams had lots of chances.
Leeds finally broke the deadlock with Raphinaās strike from outside the 18 yard box, assisted by Jack Harrison. Everton couldnāt come up with a reply.
West Bromich Albion 1 – 0 Sheffield United
Slaven Bilic’s men took the chance to grab their first win of the season with a lone goal victory over the Blades. The difference in the match was the early goal.
Conor Gallagherās long range strike gave the Baggies an early lead, tipping the scale in their favor.
Sheffield United fought tooth and nail for an equalizer, creating more chances than theyāve done in any previous game this season. The Blades were however let down by their lack of cutting edge.
They now stay hooked in the relegation battle, sitting 20th on the league table while West Brom have given themselves a fighting chance.

Sunday Premier League action
Southampton 2 – 3 Manchester United
Manchester United won their 4th consecutive away game, coming from behind in each of them and setting a record in the Premier League.
The Saints took the lead in the first half as Jan Bednarek headed home a corner in the 23rd minute. James Ward-Prowse who assisted the first goal, extended Southamptonās lead later on with a beautiful free kick.
A different Manchester United side then emerged in the second half with Dean Henderson replacing injured David De Dea in goal and Edison Cavani coming on for Mason Greenwood.
The changes worked a treat as Cavani had a hand in all 3 goals that helped his side come from behind. He assisted 1 before scoring 2 for himself, including the late winner.
The Red Devils ended Southamptonās 7 game unbeaten run as they made their place in the top 10 more comfortable.
Chelsea 0 – 0 Tottenham Hotspur
The first half of the match was pretty quiet with both sides tending more towards securing their defence rather than scoring a goal.
Chelsea had more of the attacking threat in the second half but failed to find the back of the net.
The draw saw Spurs leap back to the summit of the Premier League, level on points with defending champions Liverpool while Chelsea sit 3rd.
Arsenal 1 – 2 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Arsenalās woeful Premier League form continues despite scoring their first goal from open play since their outing against Sheffield United.
Wolves took the lead in the 27th minute through Pedro Netoās opener. Mikel Artetaās men drew level soon after as Arsenalās 2 new signings Willian and Gabriel Megalhes combined for the Gunnersās first goal.
Daniel Podence scored the winner just before half time and that scoreline was kept till the end of the game.
The result was however not the main talking point of the game as Wolvesā star striker, Raul Jimenez was taken off in the 15th minute due to a head injury. He collided with with David Luiz, whose fitness is also now in question after the incident.
Final Games – Monday
Leicester City 1 – 2 Fulham
Scott Parkerās men stunned the Foxes with a victory at the King Power Stadium.
Ademola Lookman opened scoring at the half hour mark, assisted by Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
The Cottagers extended their lead soon after as Ivan Cavaleiro converted from the penalty spot.
Brendan Rodgers’s men tried to fight their way back into the game but couldnāt find the back of the net till the 86th minute through Harvey Barnes.
The result pushed Fulham out of the relegation zone as they grab their second win of the season while the Foxes sit 4th place following their 2nd defeat in a row.
West Ham United 2 – 1 Aston Villa
The Hammers fought out a home victory over Dean Smithās men in the last clash of Premier League Gameweek 10.
The Hammers had an early lead through Angelo Ogbonna but the Villains drew level through Jack Grealishās goal later on in the first half.
Jarrod Bowen then scored the winner for the Hammers straight after the start of the second half. Ollie Watkins missed a penalty that could have drawn his side level and then his last minute effort to repay his team was ruled out by the VAR for offside.
