Victony not in a haste to be on same level as Asake, Rema

Nigerian recording artiste, Victony has stated that he is not in a haste to be on the same superstar level as his colleagues, Asake and Rema.

He stated this while reacting to the claims by some social media users that his debut album ‘Stubborn’ wasn’t “commercially successful” because he didn’t have “haters” to post negative comments that will make it trend on social media.

Reacting, Victony said the assumption was “dumb,” stressing that those pushing the narrative have high expectations for the album beyond his current status in the music industry.

On his X handle, Victony wrote: “Lmao, Victony need more haters gotta be the dumbest shit I seen cos what’s the rush? Everyone wanna be Rema and Asake in 2 hours?”
