Turkish giants Galatasaray have officially unveiled Victor Osimhen after the Nigerian signed on a season-long loan from Napoli.
The 25-year-old arrived Turkey over a day ago and was received by hundreds of Gala fans at the airport.
In a statement released on Wednesday before Osimhen’s unveiling with the club’s jersey, Galatasaray said an agreement was reached for the temporary transfer of Osimhen without a fee.

“An agreement has been reached with professional footballer Victor James Osimhen and his club SSCN Napoli SPA for the temporary transfer of the player free of charge”, the statement read.
“The football player will be paid a net seasonal salary of 6,000,000 euros for the 2024-2025 season. It is respectfully announced to the public”.
Osimhen gets jersey number 45
The reigning Africa Footballer of The Year will wear the Number 45 jersey for the 24-time Turkish Süper Lig champions.
Earlier, Osimhen had been a subject of intense transfer speculation this summer window. He was of interest to Saudi Arabian outfit Ah-Ahli and English Premier club Chelsea before deals with either team broke down following discussions.
Earlier, Napoli confirmed they have no plans to reintegrate Osimhen in the squad. Both manager Antonio Conte and the club management shared the decision.
