Anthony Joshua has shrugged off any speculation about retiring after suffering a brutal knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley.
The two-time heavyweight champion was floored in the fifth round, crushing his hopes for a third title.
Despite the knockout in front of a record-setting crowd of 98,000, ‘AJ’ remains determined to keep fighting. Trainer Ben Davison admitted Joshua was “reckless,” but the British star is far from throwing in the towel.

Joshua insists that this setback wonāt define his career, and he’s eager to climb back into the ring. For AJ, the journey continues, with no plans of stepping away anytime soon.
āAlways walk with your head high, we rolled the dice, for the third time, 13 world title fights, not every one has been successful, but theyāve all been fun and entertaining,ā Joshua said.
āYouāre probably asking if I still want to consider fighting? Of course I want to continue fighting. We took a shot at success and we came up short. What does that mean now? That weāre going to run away? Weāre going to live to fight another day. And thatās what I am ā Iām a warrior.
āThere were a few mistakes in there but thatās the name of the game. Fine margins will cost you at the top level.
āAlso before I finish, we have to give credit our opponent Daniel. When I sign up to fight opponents, I donāt really like them in my head any more. But now that itās done, I take my hat off to him and say well done.ā
