Davido shrugs off alleged feud with colleague, Wizkid

Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke who is better known as Davido has spoken about his perceived feud against his colleague, Ayodeji Balogun who is better known as Wizkid.

The singer-songwriter mentioned that he doesn’t have any feud with Wizkid.

Davido made this known while explaining why he hung out with Wizkid before launching his Timeless album in 2023.

Speaking in a now trending interview on BBC radio, the singer noted that the hangout aimed to show fans that there was no conflict between them and to ensure that his album was drama-free.

In a video of the interview posted on Instagram by bwetv.ng, Davido narrated how he reached out to one of his key fans, expressing his desire to avoid any fights involving Wizkid’s supporters known as FC.

“I reached out to one of my fans, Tomiwa. The guy that kind of gets to everybody. I called him and I said, look my album is coming out on Thursday. Please leave all these Wizkid fans. Please don’t fight anybody.

“I was with Wizkid a couple of days ago and we were not fighting. Don’t fight anybody because I want my album to come out clean, but Tomiwa started fighting and my album leaked two days before the launch. But these fans are amazing as well, they also have positive sides.”
