It is so amazing how this year has witnessed so much fashion revolution in the Nigerian fashion industry. The regular is no longer the normal.We have been getting amazing fashion pieces that appreciates local fabrics to create contemporary pieces.

Check out these three celebrities who wore revolutionised outfit and damn! They rock!

1. Kiekie

When did denim become so stylish like this? The denim has a representation of the tie and dye technique but that is not our focus. The material was revolutionised from to a three piece- a dramatic coat, a corset top and of course a baggy pants.

The bubble style of cuffs for the jacket makes it profound. I love how she styled the look with silver colour- the colour used for the detailing on the outfit.

The silver neon sneakers is the highlight of the look for me alongside her shades. Kiekie is a jack of all fashion. She moves glaringly from traditional fashion to modern and futuristic fashion.

2. Akin Faminu

Akin Faminu has been wearing revolutionised suit that looks dapper each time he steps into the game. For this look, he is rocking a wine suit . At the edge of the sleeves, the jacket has gathered cotton threads.This motif is repeated at the hem of the pants too.

The surface of the jacket bears embroidery that sparkles. Wait, Akin Faminu just rocked an aso-oke suit! I love what Nigerian fashion influencers are doing with traditional fabrics. The look looks so nice and it took me quite a while to discover he’s wearing an aso-oke suit. The silk shirt he is wearing bow tie just brings out the classiness in the look.

3. Omowunmi Dada

Omowunmi Dada is wearing an Ankara jack gown combines with a white plain material for the flare part of the dress. I believe this dress is a go-to dress for anything casual or formal. The Nollywood actress is styling this dress as casual but I believe it can be styled as a corporate dress with just a shoe switch.
