Apple will launch a Business Caller ID service in 2025

Apple released some new features to its Apple Business Connect service that would help average shoppers. The largest enhancement spotted is Business Caller ID. When rolled out next year, any company regardless of size can register to have its name, logo and the department appear each time they are contacting customers. In practice, that can help people sort between a call from a real business and the scams.

Apple Business Connect enables organisations to have better control over how they are represented within various applications across the Apple environment. In 2023 Apple provided business opportunities to change their listings in Apple Maps, Messages app, Siri and Wallet. The current releases provide Business Connect branding tools previously unavailable to any business irrespective of its physical presence. Apart from making Business Caller ID a regular feature in the future, the program also includes brand info in the mail and phone applications. Companies that choose to be part of the program can also customise and place their logo on the Tap to Pay option for contactless payment.
