Davido and Chioma: OBO explains why he walked down the aisle with his ‘assurance’

Earlier in the year, Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke who is better known as Davido walked down the aisle with his partner, Chioma Rowland.

It would be recalled that the foremost singer-songwriter introduced the world to his partner, Chioma Rowland in 2018. She appeared in the music video, ‘Assurance’, and the singer immediately made Chioma a social media sensation.

Speaking in a recent interview session with The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido mentioned that he wouldn’t have chosen to walk down the aisle if it hadn’t been for his partner, Chioma Rowland.

He said, “My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years so it was only right I married her. I was already famous before we met but I wasn’t big then.

“If it wasn’t her [Chioma], I’m not getting married. There’s no point.”
