Oleksandr Usyk reaffirmed his dominance in heavyweight boxing with another points victory over Tyson Fury on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Ukrainian southpaw retained his unified WBC, WBO, and WBA heavyweight titles, extending his unbeaten professional record.
Their second clash came just months after Usykās historic split-decision win in May, which made him the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 24 years. This time, the outcome was more decisive, with all three judges scoring the bout 116-112 in Usykās favour.

Fury, determined to reclaim heavyweight glory, relied on his size advantage and powerful punches in the early rounds. However, Usykās agility, accuracy, and superior conditioning gradually turned the tide. The 37-year-old repeatedly targeted Furyās body as he exploited his opponentās bulk, sapping his energy in the later rounds.
The fight remained competitive until the halfway point, but Usyk’s tactical brilliance and relentlessness secured the upper hand. Despite Furyās attempts to wear him down with clinches and heavy blows, Usykās movement and shot selection proved too much to handle.
After the fight, Usyk praised his opponent, calling Fury āa great fighter and opponent.ā Reflecting on his victory, he credited his family and rigorous training regimen for his continued success, even as his 38th birthday approaches.
Meanwhile, Fury, now 36, suffered the second defeat of his career, falling short in his quest to become a three-time world champion. The loss marks a significant setback for the Briton, who has been a dominant force in heavyweight boxing for years.
In the aftermath, Usyk was confronted by Daniel Dubois, who holds the IBF title Usyk vacated earlier this year. Although Dubois is set to defend his belt against Joseph Parker in February, Usyk welcomed the prospect of a future rematch.
