Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to offering automatic employment to individuals with relevant expertise in medical, health-related fields, and engineering.
The governor made this announcement on his X page following the 23rd Executive Council meeting at the Government House.
He urged council members to uphold unity and teamwork, emphasising the importance of loyalty, honesty, and mutual respect within the cabinet.
Governor Yusuf also welcomed the newly appointed commissioners to the Executive Council, revealing that he had instructed the State Head of Civil Service and the Commissioner for Health to finalise arrangements for the immediate integration of foreign-trained professionals into the state’s workforce.

The governor said, “Reviewing our recent successes, specifically cited the successful return of 150 students under the state foreign scholarship scheme from Indian universities after the completion of their second-degree programmes.”
