Oladipupo Mojeed brings us the preview & his predictions of what we can expect from Premier League GameWeek 27.

Burnley v Arsenal

After a stuttering start, Burnley has improved in some of their last few games. This was evident when they shared the spoils with Leicester on Wednesday.

Arsenal continued their rich form, coming back from a goal down to beat Leicester 3-1 at the King Power Stadium.

Having been defeated at the Emirates before Christmas, the Gunners will want to take revenge against the Clarets.

A draw will keep Burnley away from the relegation zone while a win will take Arsenal up further in a bid to continue their push for a spot in Europe.

Prediction: 1-2
Sheffield United v Southampton

Southampton continues to suffer further fall, with the last coming against Everton on Monday. With just one point taken from their past nine matches, getting a win against the Blades will be good.

The Saints need more points because the 30 points they have so far will not be enough for survival.

Sheffield on the other hand will be going into this clash on the back of an impressive against Aston Villa. This means it won’t be an easy clash for Ralph HasenhĆ¼ttl’s side. They will have to play this game without key midfielder Oriol Romeu, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Sheffield United will want to move away from where they are as they are rooted to the bottom of the log. With such a great win over Aston Villa on Wednesday, the Blades have not given up hope yet.

Prediction: 1-1
Aston Villa v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Villa are struggling with the absence of Jack Grealish, making them very difficult to predict.

If they could defeat Leeds United without, they can cope. However, they have been poor in his absence as they lost to Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Grealish could be back against Wolves, which would be good news for the Villains.

Having been beaten by Manchester City midweek, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will still be hard to break by the Villains. They will also want to take revenge for the 1-0 loss they suffered at the Molineux, courtesy of a late penalty in their last meeting.

Wolves could edge this, but a draw is more than likely.

Prediction: 1-1
Brighton & Hove Albion v Leicester City

Leicester are plagued with injuries and is causing them nightmares.

However, they have to see out an impressive Brighton in terms of possession. And so it will be a fight of who wants it more.

Having failed to garner points in their past couple of games, Brighton will aim to have a go at The Foxes.

It will be recalled that Brendan Rodgers’ men hammered the Seagulls at King Power Stadium before Christmas. But with an unfit forward line, it will be difficult to replicate that .

Prediction: 1-0
West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle

This is not expected to be a thriller as both sides usually play defensively. And that cautious approach is unlikely to change.

Newcastle could focus more on attacking but Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin are now injured along with Callum Wilson. West Brom on the other hand could give it a go but don’t have much attacking prowess.

With Sam Allardyce at the helm of affairs, they are likely to be more direct by throwing the ball from the back. If they get a chance at Hawthorns, they won’t hesitate to punish the Magpies.

Prediction: 0-0
Liverpool v Fulham

This is expected to be a routine win for Jurgen Klopp at Anfield. With the loss against Chelsea, which was their fifth in a row at home in the league, The Reds are expected to bounce back here.

Fulham on the other hand has shown recently that they aren’t be a pushover. They will surely give the Premier League champions a run for their money.

The Cottagers won’t lack belief going into this, having held Liverpool to 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage and almost beating them in December.

Prediction: 2-0
Manchester City v Manchester United

This is the game causing the most frenzy at that bookmakers for Premier League GameWeek 27. The Citizens are on rich form and United will try to put a stop to that at the Etihad on Sunday. Winning this will extend Man City’s lead at the top to seventeen points.

United are going into the clash struggling to score of late, having drawn a blank in their past three games in all competitions. But they need to get something out of this, and so they must score and destabilised City.

A win here is more important for their hopes of staying in the top-four than of catching up with City.

City is currently on a roll and are favourites to win this.

Prediction: 2-0
Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are going into this clash with some level of confidence after going three games unbeaten and picking up five points in the process.

But they will have to stop a Spurs team that now has Gareth Bale scoring. It will be difficult for the Roy Hodgson’s men to stop the trio of Bale, Harry Kane, and Son Heung-Min.

Meanwhile, Palace are not mathematically safe with 34 points. However as they are not involved in the relegation battle, they are going into this without pressure. This could help them get a result against an inconsistent Spurs.

Prediction: 2-0
Chelsea v Everton

This is expected to be a tough game as both sides continue their fight for the top four.

Chelsea will be going into this clash with a home clean sheet under Thomas Tuchel. Everton on the other hand, is better on the road than they are at Goodison Park. They got 29 of their 46 points away from home and are yet to record a defeat away from home since November.

That could end on Monday night as Chelsea is tipped for a win at Stamford Bridge.

But one can’t rule out a surprise if Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti ends up getting something to show for his return to Stamford Bridge.

Prediction: 2-0
West Ham v Leeds

This is hard to predict because Leeds is down at the moment like Aston Villa.

They are coming up against a West Ham side that has been far more consistent. The London club is also in the race for the top four.

The Hammers proved themselves, losing gallant at Manchester City last weekend.

Leeds has been struggling without Kalvin Phillips. Having the English man back will improve their chances of getting something from this. But the Hammers are likely to maintain their impressive form.

Prediction: 2-0

We are hoping for a flurry of goals in Premier League GameWeek 27 and an improvement on the previous game week.
