The nomination list for the 67th Grammy award ceremony has been announced.
Nigerian music superstars such as Burna Boy, Asake and Rema have appeared on the nomination list for the 67th edition of the Grammy ceremony.
American artist Chris Brown, who is the only non-Nigerian artist in the category, made the cut with a song featuring two Nigerians, Davido and Lojay.

The nominations were announced by the organisers on Friday, November 8.
The nominees for the Best African Music Performance category are āTomorrowā by Yemi Alade, āMMSā by Asake featuring Wizkid, āSensationalā by Chris Brown featuring Davido and Lojay, āHigherā by Burna Boy, and āLove Me JeJeā by Tems.
News Round The Clock (NRTC) recalls that āWaterā by South African singer, Tyla, won the maiden award for the Best African Music Performance recognition at the 66th Grammys.
Meanwhile, the duo of Nigerian singers Rema and Tems were nominated in the Best Global Music Album category.
Temsā debut album āBorn In The Wildā and Remaās sophomore album, āHEISā were nominated in the category.
They will compete against Matt B and Royal Philharmonic Orchestraās āAlkebulan IIā, Ciro Hurtadoās āPaisajesā, and Antonio Reyās āHistorias De Un Flamencoā.
Tems also bagged a nomination in the Best R&B Song category as her song āBurningā made the cut.
Only women were nominated in the Best R&B Song category at this yearās Grammys.
Tems will face stiff competition from āAfter Hoursā by Kehlani, Coco Jonesā āHere We Go (Uh Oh)ā, Muni Longās āRuined Meā, and āSaturnā by SZA.
