Grammy Awards: ‘I’m proud of their exploits’- Tinubu celebrates Nigerian nominees

President Bola Tinubu on Monday congratulated Nigerian musical talents Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide, Tems, Asake, and Ayra Starr for their nominations at the 2024 Grammy Awards. 

He expressed pride in their achievements, citing them as embodiments of the Nigerian spirit of resilience and determination.

“I commend and thank them for being outstanding representatives of Nigeria,” said the President.

Tinubu praised the nominees for elevating Nigeria’s cultural influence through their artistry and catchy tunes, enhancing the nation’s soft power. 

His statement, issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, applauded the artists for their dedication, boldness, and commitment to excellence.
