Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face, has shed light on where his former Plantashun Boiz bandmate, Faze, stands in the long-standing disagreement between him and Blackface.
The rivalry between Blackface and 2Face has resurfaced repeatedly over the years, largely driven by claims from Blackface that 2Face stole his intellectual property, allegations the latter has consistently denied.
While performing at the Made in Benue Festival in Makurdi, Benue State, 2Face addressed the issue before fans, clarifying that Faze has remained neutral and uninvolved in the conflict.
According to him, the disagreement is strictly between himself and Blackface and has nothing to do with Faze.

“You all know that Plantashun Boiz consisted of Blackface, 2Face and Faze. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, Blackface is not with us right now.
“However, no matter the beef wey me and Blackface get, nothing concern Faze inside. So, Faze is right here with me and we will represent Plantashun Boiz,” he said.
Plantashun Boiz broke up in the early 2000s, a development that marked the beginning of the fallout between Blackface and 2Face. After the split, Blackface openly blamed 2Face for the group’s disbandment and accused him of stealing songs.
Despite several reconciliation attempts over the years, the relationship between the two artists has remained tense, with each peace effort failing to produce lasting resolution.
