Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adeoluwa Okusaga, widely known as Saga, has opened up about his reason for joining the popular reality show.
Speaking in a recent interview with Channels Television, Saga explained that his decision to participate in Big Brother Naija was intentional, as he wanted to use the platform to kick-start a career in entertainment.
“I went to Big Brother Naija to launch my career as an entertainer. I am an engineer.
“My colleagues at work begged me to go for Big Brother Nigeria, they said I will do well,” Saga said in the interview.

The reality star, who is also an actor, pointed out that his background in engineering has helped shape his creativity. According to him, engineers naturally possess imaginative and analytical abilities that can be useful in the entertainment space.
He stated, “As an engineer, you have to have a powerful imagination, understanding, and skill. A lot of artists like Davinci ended up as engineers because it’s a parallel.”
Saga took part in Season 6 of Big Brother Naija in 2021, where he was evicted in the ninth week of the competition. Since leaving the show, he has pursued acting and has featured in several films, steadily building his presence in the movie industry.
