Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has warned the public about a person pretending to be him and sending fake messages to people for business purposes.
The actor shared the warning on his social media page after discovering that someone had been using his name to contact people with false claims. He told his followers and members of the public to stay alert and avoid responding to any strange messages that claim to come from him.
He made it clear that he is not working with any manager or personal assistant at the moment. According to him, anyone who reaches out to people claiming to represent him should not be trusted. He advised fans and business partners to ignore any chats, offers, or requests that come from unknown numbers pretending to be linked to him.
Johnson also urged the public to take action against the person behind the impersonation. He encouraged people to report the number being used and make it difficult for the scammer to continue the act. His warning came after he realized that the impersonator was trying to mislead people by acting as if they were connected to his official activities.
