Adekunle Gold announces new album ‘Tequila Ever After’


Nigerian ace Afrobeat singer, Adekunle Kosoko, professionally known as Adekunle Gold, has announced date for the release of a new album.

According to the singer, the new album ‘Tequila Ever After’, will be out July 28th via Def Jam Recordings.

Adekunle Gold’s fifth studio album consists of an 18-track project including his new single ‘Ogaranya’ which follows the Zinoleesky-assisted ‘Party No Dey Stop’, ‘Omo Eko’, Do You Mind, and others.

The 36-year-old on Tuesday, July 12, 2023, unveiled the cover art and tracklist for his forthcoming landmark fifth album, Tequila Ever After (TEA).

The International Afrobeats superstar album cover art and the track clearly showed that he is in his Rockstar era, and listeners can expect to be blown away by the TEA album set for release on July 28, 2023.

“Tequila Ever After drops on the 28th of July. I recorded over 60 songs and we picked the best 18 for you. I canā€™t wait for you to hear it, so much work has gone into creating this masterpiece.”

His last album “Catch Me If You Can” was released on 4 February 2022 and consists of 14 tracks made in the Afrobeat genre which features vocals from international performing crooners like Fatoumata Diawara, Ty Dolla Sign, Stefflon Don, Foushee, Davido and Lucky Daye, who rendered good services in making it a successful and impressive one.
