Paris Saint-Germain Féminin have confirmed that Nigeria’s Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has signed a two-year contract, with an option for a third, after leaving Atlético Madrid.
The forward joined PSG as a free agent following her departure from Atlético Madrid in June 2025. She has already begun training with the French club.
Ajibade becomes the second Nigerian in PSG’s current squad, joining Jennifer Echegini. She also becomes the sixth Nigerian to represent the French giants historically.

Her signing followed a standout campaign at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she recieved the Best Player award after leading Nigeria to a record 10th title.
Officials expect her pace, creativity, and leadership to strengthen PSG’s attack as the club targets the Division 1 Féminine crown and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
