Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has said claiming victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford is always special.
City comprehensively walloped rivals United 3-0 at the Old Trafford on Sunday with Erling Haaland netting a brace.
The Norwegian also provided an assist for fantastic player Phil Foden as City marched on to a dominant win.

Haaland stepped up to convert a first half penalty before heading in a second goal in the 49th minute.
He pounced on a rebound to set-up Foden for City’s third. The match was largely dominated by the Cityzens. The away team took control of the midfield and ran United inside out on various occasions.
Grealish was impressive on the wing and his replacement, Jeremy Doku made a mess of Antony and Bruno Fernandes after he was introduced.
Holistically, the Red Devils were shambolic and lacked any sort of fighting spirit. The defence was poor, and the midfield was even poorer.
United players were unimpressive right in front of their fans at the theatre of dreams. The victory was Cityās seventh win against United at Old Trafford under Guardiola.
“… It is always special to win at Old Trafford”
āThe second goal helped us a lot,ā Guardiola said on mancity.com.
āWe talked at halftime and thought they would be more aggressive. We made two incredible build ups with Ruben and Ederson. After we dropped and after Bernardo and Jack made a good action and those were the key points of the game.
āThe first seven minutes we lost the ball because we didnāt do simple things. We allowed them to make a transition. The second half was brilliant.
Last season we lost, this season we won, and it is always special to win at Old Trafford.ā
Manchester City are now third on the Premier League table with 24 points.
Meanwhile, Manchester United occupy the eighth spot with 15 points from 10 games.
