The Oluyole Warriors have secured a new attacking option. Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has officially confirmed the signing of forward Alade Balogun.
The Nigerian Premier Football League club announced the transfer this week. Balogun joins from top-flight rivals Ikorodu City FC. He arrives during the competition’s mid-season transfer window.
His acquisition ends recent speculation about the player’s future. Several top-flight clubs had shown interest in him. Balogun featured prominently for Ikorodu City in the season’s first half.
The move facilitates a reunion with head coach Nurudeen Aweroro. Club officials expect this familiarity to aid his integration. Aweroro himself joined Shooting Stars at this season’s start.
Balogun brings experience from previous NPFL clubs. His career includes spells with MFM FC and former champions Enyimba FC.
The Ibadan-based club currently sits eighth in the NPFL. They seek an improved second-half season. This signing aims to bolster their attacking resources.
