Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has been named in the Bundesliga Team of the Week after the conclusion of matchday 5 fixtures.
The Team of the Week was put together by Bundesliga and was announced on their official website, Bundesliga.com.
The 22-year-old has been in red-hot form following his stunning performances for his new club Leverkusen. His most recent impressive performance came against Heidenheim on Sunday with his brace helping Leverkusen to a 4-1 victory.

Boniface drew the first blood as early as the 9th minute before netting his second of the game on 74 minutes from the penalty spot to put his side 3-1 up.
His two goals against Heidenheim means he has scored a total of six goals in five league outings this term.
Hattrick hero Harry Kane was also named in the Team of the Week alongside Bayern Munich teammate Noussair Mazraoui. Matthijs de Ligt is another Bavarian who made the XI.
Boniface has helped Bayer Leverkusen maintain an unbeaten start to the season. They are also second in the league table behind Bayern.
