The ninth edition of the Big Brother Naija show dubbed BBNaija No Loose Guard kicked off on Sunday, July 28, much to the fascination of viewers.

As the competition unravels, News Round The Clock (NRTC) gathered that a contestant identified as Tjay was rescued as he was about to drown during a pool party on Thursday, August 1.

In atypical Big Brother Naija style, several housemates were having fun inside the pool before he lost his footing.

The 33-year-old doctor in a now viral video is seen struggling to maintain his balance and footing while trying to stay afloat in the pool.

No one noticed the situation until Ben, Tjay’s partner in Biggie’s house came to rescue him after he saw him battling to keep his head above the water.
