Season five of reality TV show, Big Brother Naija starts on July 19. BB Naija is the biggest reality television show in Nigeria.
The organisers of the much anticipated reality show, Multichoice Nigeria broke the news on Monday. In May, Multichoice Nigeria began online auditions for the fifth edition of the show. It called for video entries which often precede the selection of prospective housemates.

The potential contestants of this year’s Big Brother Show were also informed about other requirements needed to qualify.
This year’s edition of the reality show is coming on the heels of the successes recorded during the showās previous four editions. The last edition of the show saw finalist Mercy Eke win the grand prize of N60 million naira.
The fifth edition is timely considering that the organisation is having a reunion for former housemates of the show.
The fourth season of the big brother show called the Pepper Dem edition was characterised by several controversies. Moreso, it included a heated battle between Mercy Eke and Tacha Akide, the most-talked about housemates.
The fifth season of the Big Brother Naija is the ‘Fire Crackers’ edition. The show promises to be an interesting period for the fans of the show who will no doubt be glued to their television sets.
It is pertinent to note that as Big Brother Naija season five is commencing, fans will be looking forward to which contestant to support as the show gathers momentum.
