Former Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has opened up about her views on fame and wealth, stating clearly that she values financial security over public recognition.
Speaking in an interview with Odira Ndubuaku, the reality star explained that fame holds little meaning without money, adding that she would willingly give it up if the right financial opportunity comes her way.
Eke revealed that she does not mind stepping away from the spotlight entirely, including letting go of her social media presence, if it guarantees long-term financial comfort.

She noted that a substantial amount like 2 billion dollars would allow her to secure a luxurious lifestyle, including owning a private island home and taking care of her family.
“I only enjoy being famous occasionally. I would trade my fame for 2 billion dollars. Wettin dem dey carry fame do? Give me money and delete me from every social media platforms. I would give up my influence, everything for money,” she said.

Eke added that with 2 billion dollars she can afford an Island home and good living for herself and family.
She emphasised that she doesn’t care much about being famous.
