Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye is celebrating a major victory as she successfully resolved a copyright dispute that affected her movie Where Love Lives.
The actress took to Instagram to share her relief and gratitude after an individual, identified as Emmanuel Davies (a name she later clarified was fake), allegedly claimed ownership of a song fully licensed and approved for use in her film. This false copyright claim reportedly led to the movie’s monetization being taken down across platforms.

In a series of emotional posts, Ademoye explained that the song was legally acquired, paid for, and used with full permission from the original artist. She expressed frustration over how the claim disrupted her work. However, she made it clear she would not back down or settle privately. Instead, she insisted on due legal process.
