Bobrisky: Nigerians bemoan absence of ‘mummy of Lagos’ at the 2024 AMVCA

Netizens have taken to the microblogging site, X to state that they miss the presence of the controversial transvestite, Bobrisky at the 2024 African Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) in Lagos state, Nigeria.

The 10th edition of the African version of the academy award is scheduled to take place today, Saturday, May 11.

While other notable celebrities have graced the red carpet and the AMVCA ceremony with their enthralling appearance, one figure that has noticeably been absent is the renowned transvestite, Bobrisky.

Bobrisky whose real name is Idris Okuneye was apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) one month ago after he pleaded guilty to the offence of “abusing the naira”.

Due to his arrest, the transvestite has missed numerous major social events, including the 2024 AMVCA ceremony where he is renowned for grabbing the attention with his ostentatious style and alluring appearance in time past.

Social media users have since taken to X to express how much they miss the “mummy of Lagos” as he has dubbed himself.
