The 2024 AMVCA ceremony is currently in full gear and News Round The Clock (NRTC) is bringing the gist as they unravel before the eyes of the audience.
The African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (AMVCA) is designed to celebrate the contributions of actors, producers and cinematographers from across Africa to the entertainment industry. It is aimed at acknowledging the excellence of creatives that are concerned with narrating the story of Africa by Africans to the world.

As at the time of this publication, it is the 10th edition of the AMVCA ceremony that is ongoing, taking place in Lagos state, Nigeria, the most populous black nation in the world.
As part of the framework for showcasing African culture and heritage, the academy award kicked off on Friday night with the Cultural day event. The program saw top celebrities dress in their native attire and grace the screen of Africans with elegance, poise and grace.
The night saw Big Brother alumni and cousins, Neo and Venita Akpofure go home with the sum of N1 million each after they emerged “best persons” in the male and female categories respectively.
