The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 34 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Ekiti State.
Operatives from the Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the anti-graft agency carried out the arrests in the early hours of Monday, 23 June 2025, at Iworoko and Ijado areas of Ado-Ekiti.

According to the EFCC, the operation followed credible intelligence linking the suspects to fraudulent online activities.
Items recovered from the scene included 11 luxury cars, several laptops, numerous mobile phones, and incriminating documents.
The EFCC confirmed that the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
