Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community in the state as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.
He urged them to uphold the values of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan, a month dedicated to fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection.
He encouraged them to carry forward the virtues cultivated during the holy month.

“As you mark the end of this sacred period, I rejoice with you on this year’s Eid-el-Fitr and urge you to use this occasion to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan,” the governor stated.
“Continue to embody patience, love, compassion, and self-discipline in your daily lives. May Allah shower His countless blessings upon you and your loved ones.”
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed optimism that the Eid celebration would usher in peace and prosperity for all Muslim faithful in the state.
He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering religious harmony and ensuring a conducive environment for all faiths to thrive.
The governor extended his gratitude to Muslim clerics and leaders for their prayers and support, emphasising the importance of collective efforts in building a united and progressive Ondo State.
