VeryDarkMan alleges plot to silence critics after EFCC invitation

Social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has disclosed that he received an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The development follows a petition reportedly filed with the anti-graft agency by legal practitioner Blessing Agbomhere of Blessing Agbomhere & Partners.

In the petition, Agbomhere reportedly called for a comprehensive investigation into the financial dealings, sponsorship structures and sources of funding linked to both VeryDarkMan and activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju.

Responding via his social media platforms, VeryDarkMan described the move as a deliberate effort aimed at silencing individuals who speak out on national issues.

He further alleged that members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) were behind the petition and were using legal mechanisms to suppress criticism directed at the government.

“They want to stop us from speaking against this evil government that has failed to protect the lives of Nigerians. So, they used their people to write petitions,” VeryDarkMan wrote on his Instagram page.
