Nollywood actress and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings, Eniola Badmus, has stirred conversations online after declaring that she has no understanding of what it means to be broke.
Badmus made the remark while speaking on the red carpet at the premiere of The Return of Omotara Johnson.
During the interview, she was asked how she copes with periods of financial difficulty. However, the actress said she could not relate to the experience.
The interviewer asked: “What does being broke mean to you?”
Badmus replied: “I do not even know the meaning of being broke.”

When asked to define wealth, the actress described it as having the ability to access whatever one desires and being in a position to positively affect the lives of others.
She said, “To have all the things that you want at your beck and call. When you are comfortable and able to buy whatever you want and also, most importantly, impact on other people’s lives.”
According to Badmus, financial prosperity is also a measure of success.
She added that “when you have money, it means you are successful.”
