The Federal Inland Revenue Service has officially rebranded as the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), unveiling a new logo and corporate identity on December 31, 2025, in Abuja.
Executive Chairman Zacch Adedeji led the launch, marking the formal transition under the Nigeria Revenue Service Establishment Act 2025 signed by President Bola Tinubu in June.
The NRS assumes an expanded mandate as Nigeria’s central revenue authority, replacing the FIRS as part of comprehensive tax reforms.
Adedeji explained that the new identity reflects a unified, efficient, and service-oriented system aligned with the country’s economic transformation agenda and global best practices.
The logo and brand elements symbolise continuity of purpose, strengthened institutional capacity, and a forward-looking approach to taxpayer support and national development.
He assured Nigerians that the NRS prioritises transparency, partnership, and excellence in revenue administration.
Adedeji emphasised building trust and clarity between the authority and the public for shared prosperity.
