Gabrielle Union lauds Tems, calls her ‘the Queen’ following performance at NBA All-Star game


American actress, Gabrielle Union was full of praises for Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tems after they met at the NBA All-Star game on Sunday, February 19.

Tems whose real name is Temilade Openiyi was scheduled to perform at the 2023 NBA All-Star game alongside her compatriots, Burna Boy and Rema.

Since her emergence, she has continued to attain prominence on the international stage and 2023 has commenced on a high note for the 27-year-old singer.

On Sunday, Union was seen on camera hailing Nigerian artist Tems after her performance at the NBA All-Star Game.The NBA All-Star event happened over the weekend with various lineups in Salt Lake City. LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo led the All-Star Game.

Tems’ performance appeared to have blown away Gabrielle Union, who resorted to hailing the singer in the now-viral video.

“There’s only one Tems. This is the queen,” she said.

It would be recalled that a couple of weeks ago, Tems bagged her first Grammy win at the 65th Grammy award for contribution on Future’s, ‘Wait For U’, a single that also features Canadian music superstar, Drake.
