The incident happened around 10pm on Monday while he was parking his car.
The attackers reportedly entered his compound and beat him with sticks before forcing him away.
His wife heard his voice and ran out, but it was already too late as the men had fled with him.
Later, the kidnappers called his family and asked for N100 million to free him.
Security agencies were quickly informed, and efforts to find him began immediately.
The commander of the Amotekun Corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed that his team had begun searching for the kidnappers.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo, Olushola Ayanlade, also confirmed the news, adding that Adepoyigi was taken near the entrance of his farm along the Ifon-Owo road.
Police officers, local hunters, and soldiers have now joined forces to track down the suspects and rescue the victim.
