Kehinde Adegbodu, one half of the Yoruba gospel music duo known as the Adegbodu Twins, has shared details about the circumstances surrounding the death of his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu.
His explanation comes about a week after Taiwo’s sudden passing.
News Round The Clock recalls that Kehinde announced his brother’s death on Sunday, March 1, 2026, but did not reveal the cause at the time.
However, while speaking to a group of visitors at their home in Ibadan, Kehinde clarified that his brother had not been ill before the tragic incident.

Recounting the events leading up to Taiwo’s death, he said the singer suffered a heart attack shortly after complaining of chest pain.
Speaking in a video that has since gone viral on social media, he explained: “we went to our separate rooms after our every night routine prayers at 9:pm on Saturday February 28. He came to knock at my door at 10:55pm that he was having chest pains, and I drove him to the hospital immediately and he died a few minutes later. He was never sick.”
